Scored Newsletter Edition 2 (August 2013)

Welcome to yet another newsletter Edition! In every Newsletter, we will reveal what have been going on behind the scenes in this FC! We want to be as transparent to everyone as possible and so before we begin, take a chill pill and le this play in the background!

1. Re-Opening

As many of you have noticed, there have not been much going on within the FC. But let me assure you that we have not given up yet and are planning for the next relaunch!

The previous opening was not feasible as we see more leechers than prospective members joining us. We do still get some members who are with us till this day though!

This new re-opening requires some element to be in place first and these are what we need.

- Automated IRC

- DomClient or its variant ( An in-game advertising Client)

- Shift of emphasis to Middlemening EOC-07 trades

- Waiting for various members who are on vacation to be back

We still do not know when this re-launch will take place so do check it here as I will announce it as soon as we have decided on it!

2. Automated IRC

-For the hosts

With an automated IRC in place, we will no longer need manual hosting anymore, but that does not mean we do not need you any more In fact, we rely a lot on our ranks to be able to grow this FC!

Ranks will be able to focus more on growing the in-game FC and Middlemening trades. For bronze ranks and above, any profit or loses by the IRC will be shared among all by percentage based on their rank.

So a bronze rank will get the least share in profits but also will need to pay the least when we operate at a loss. Recruits to Sergeants will still have no share in the gambling profits/losses and I hope this will spur you guys to work hard for it!

-For Everyone else!

What this means to you is that you will be able to gamble safely and securely! By reducing the number of back and forth trading on Runescape, we are reducing the evidence of gambling in-game.

All you have to do is to query an active Chip Manager for their location in Runescape and simply hand them the Gold. They will then convert that Gold into IRC Scored Chips that you can gamble with! Once you feel that you are done, simply contact any Chip Manager to cash out!

5% commission on bettor vs bettor games still applies but if you wanna vs the House, games like 21, over/under/lucky and 58x2 are available too!

3. Middlemening

Our main crowd puller will be our 5% middlemen commission! Our ranks will take 5% on 07 server and 5% on EOC only! Coupled with our advertising efforts, we should see explosive growth within the first week we open.

We will advertise our FC, Scored in-game for middlemening. Once they are in the FC, try to get them sign up on the forums and that's how we get new people in the IRC too!

This Newsletter is slighty heavy in content and I feel its essential to update you guys on our plans!

So when can we expect the grand re-opening. I think most people will be coming back from vacation (including myself) in late august to early september Razz

This is a great way of informing everyone pretty much everything they need to know. I cannot wait for the relaunch and know scored will boom as much as it did in previous reopenings. Remind and scored alumni or any friends who you know would be interested that scored is reopening!
