Lost City Quest Guide

Length: Medium

Difficulty: Hard

Skill Requirements: Level 31 crafting, Level 36 woodcutting, ability to kill a level 101 tree spirit creature.

Quest Requirements: None

Items Needed For Quest: Hatchet and a knife.

Rewards: Access to Zanaris, Ability to wield a dragon dagger and dragon longsword, 3 Quest Points.

Instructions:
1. Head to the southern end of the Lumbridge swamp to find multiple NPC's gathered around a camp fire. Talk to the warrior and try to trick him in to telling you about the Lost City.

Say, "Do you know any good adventures I can go on.", " I don't think u've found an good adventures at all!", "Who's Zanaris?", "If it's hidden how are you planning to find it?", "Well it looks like YOU don't know EITHER seeing as your all sat around here."

These are all of the correct dialogue steps in order.



2. Directly west of the camp will be a tree that has the option of "chop tree" instead of "chop down tree". Try to chop the tree that has the option "chop tree" and the leprechaun will come out. Talk to him an he will tell you about the Dramen staff.


3. Get ready for the fight with the level 101 spirit. You will not be able to use armor, so plan carefully. Here are some steps on how to kill it.

- Melee: Bring super attack, strength, and defence potions, many prayer potions and some food.

- Magic: Bring runes so that you can cast the best spell you have available. Bring maybe one prayer potion and the rest of the invent food.

- Range: Bring an unfinished bow and some bowstring to make a bow while on Etrana, and bring fletching supplies to make enough arrows to kill the spirit. Bring one prayer potion and the rest of the invent food.


4. Once you are all ready, go to Port Sarim and talk to one of the monks on the dock to bring you to Etrana (they will only bring you if you have no armor and weapons).


5. Once on the island, head northwest to a bridge (you should pass a church on the way), cross it then head west to the ladder. Go down the ladder.


6. Once down, kill the level 25 zombies until they drop a bronze hatchet. You will need this to cut the tree in the end. Here is a map of the dungeon.





7. Run past the level 92 demons in the room to the south of them. You should see a tree. Try to cut it and the level 101 spirit will attack you.

Strategies to kill spirit:
- Melee: Equip the hatchet and use your prayer, eat when you have to.
- Mage and Range: There is one safe spot in the room that you can use. Go in the middle of the three mushrooms and the spirit won't be able to attack you.


8. Once the spirit is dead, cut the tree and use your knife with the branch you get to make a Dramen staff.


9. Teleport out, and then head to the small shack in Lumbridge swamp. Equip the Dramen staff before you enter the shack, and after you enter you will be teleported to Zanaris.
